Matthew B. Flanigan focuses his practice on estate planning, corporate law, mineral law, and real estate matters. Admitted to practice in both Illinois and Alabama, Mr. Flanigan brings a diverse legal perspective to his work, enhanced by his academic excellence as Managing Editor of the Cumberland Law Review.

Mr. Flanigan maintains deep ties to the community through his extensive service work. He currently serves as Legal Counsel to the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce and sits on the Board of Education for Mt. Vernon Township High School. His commitment to education extends to his role with the Rend Lake College Foundation, while his service through the Mt. Vernon Rotary Club demonstrates his ongoing dedication to community development.

His previous leadership roles include service on the Baptist Children's Home & Family Services Board of Trustees, CASA of Jefferson County, and the Mt. Vernon Township High School Foundation. He is a frequent speaker on estate planning topics, sharing his expertise with the community.

During his education at Baylor University, Mr. Flanigan demonstrated early leadership abilities as Student Body President before graduating with his B.B.A. in 2002.
